Welcome to a new year at the University of Arizona! Whether you are a brand new student or this is your last year on campus, Wildcat Welcome is here to help you start the year off right! For ten action-packed days we help you get settled on campus, make new friends, find your way around, find resources to make you successful, explore different groups and communities, and learn what it means to be a Wildcat.
Events You Don't Want to Miss
This special event is for students and family members. Enjoy dinner with other new Wildcat families, and learn more about the University of Arizona with speakers who will help to get you in the Wildcat spirit on Thursday, August 21 at 6:00 pm. Registration is required.
UA Clicks in a required program for all new Wildcats which helps you to learn what to expect on the first day of classes. We will be introducing you to the many systems and thechnology your faculty will use in and out of the classroom and you will get tips on what to do to be prepared for college life. Your assigned UA Clicks session is based on your academic college, check your CatMail for detials on where and when to attend on Friday, August 22, 2014.
New Student Convocation
New Student Convocation is the must attend event of Wildcat Welcome! You'll hear from the University of Arizona President, Provost, VIce Presidents of Student Affairs and more as they welcome you to your first semester on campus. Wilbur, Wilma, the Cheer Team and Pep Band will also join in on the fun to teach you about UA pride and traditions. And whatever you do, don't leave early, the event continues into the night as we celebrate the start of the new year! Oh, and did we mention the free t-shirt?
